Do I need any previous watch design or 3D modeling experience?
Absolutely not. Watch Design Academy is designed to take you from a complete beginner to confidently designing your own watches.
We start with the fundamentals of watch construction, terminology, and essential software before progressing to advanced 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, and manufacturer-ready technical documentation.
What will I be able to design after completing the Academy?
You'll learn how to design a wide variety of watches, including minimalist dress watches, professional divers, integrated sports watches, chronographs, skeleton watches, and more.
More importantly, you'll understand the complete watch design workflow, giving you the skills to develop your own original watch concepts.
What software will I learn to use?
You'll learn professional software used throughout our watch design workflow, including SolidWorks for precise 3D CAD modeling, KeyShot for photorealistic rendering and animation, and Adobe Photoshop for image editing and visual presentations.
Do I need to purchase any software separately?
KeyShot and Adobe Photoshop are included with your Watch Design Academy enrollment.
The only software you'll need to purchase separately is SolidWorks, available for approximately $48 per year through the licensing option we recommend.
We'll guide you through the software setup so you can get started.
Can I design watches for my own watch brand?
Yes. One of the main objectives of Watch Design Academy is to give you the skills to develop original watch designs for your own brand.
You'll learn how to create watch components, build complete 3D assemblies, produce realistic product visuals, and prepare technical files for manufacturing evaluation.
Will I receive manufacturer contacts?
Students enrolled in eligible programs can receive introductions to trusted watch manufacturers we've worked with for years.
These relationships have been developed through real-world watch design and production projects, including our own watch brand, SAVICÉNNTI.
Manufacturing costs and commercial agreements are arranged separately with the manufacturer. Please check your selected program for manufacturer-contact eligibility.
Will I learn how to prepare my watch for manufacturing?
Yes. You'll learn how to create professional technical drawings, specification sheets, 3D CAD files, and organized design documentation.
You'll also learn how to export the appropriate files and prepare a manufacturer-ready design package for production evaluation.
How long does it take to complete the Academy?
The Academy includes more than 33 hours of video lessons, with additional advanced watch design and animation modules.
Because the lessons are available on demand, you can learn at your own pace and revisit individual topics whenever needed.
Your completion time depends on your experience, available time, and how much you practice.
Can I learn at my own pace?
Yes. Watch Design Academy is designed for flexible, self-paced learning.
You can watch lessons whenever it suits you, repeat complex techniques, and progress through the modules at a pace that works with your schedule.
What's the difference between PRO and EXPERT?
Watch Design Academy offers two programs: PRO and EXPERT.
Both are designed to help you develop professional watch design skills, from understanding watch construction to creating complete 3D models, realistic renders, and manufacturing documentation.
The EXPERT program is designed for students who want a more personalized learning experience, including additional guidance and direct coaching.

How long will I have access to the Academy?
Your enrollment provides 12 months of access to the learning materials included in your selected program.
During your access period, you can revisit lessons and continue developing your watch design skills at your own pace.
Can I use these skills to work professionally as a watch designer?
Absolutely. The Academy teaches the same fundamental design processes and professional workflows used to develop real watch projects.
Whether your goal is to launch your own watch brand, offer freelance watch design services, or develop a new professional skill, the Academy gives you a practical foundation to build upon.

Are there any additional costs?
KeyShot and Adobe Photoshop are included with your Academy enrollment.
The only additional required software purchase is SolidWorks, available for approximately $48 per year through our recommended licensing option.
If you decide to manufacture your own watch, prototyping and production costs are separate and depend on your design, specifications, and chosen manufacturer.
Can I create professional 3D watch animations?
Yes. The Academy includes a dedicated 3D animation module where you'll learn how to create professional watch animations using KeyShot.
These animations can be used to present your watch designs on websites, social media, product launch campaigns, and paid advertisements.
